A journey of excellence and dedication
Miya, a rising junior at Greater Atlanta Christian School, embodies academic excellence with a 4.2 GPA through a challenging curriculum of Honors and Advanced Placement classes. Beyond her studies, she excels on the GAC Varsity and Apex Club track teams, showcasing her athletic prowess. Since the age of six, Miya has also pursued her lifelong passion for dance with Perimeter Ballet located in Johns Creek, GA.
Committed to community and service
Miya's dedication also extends far into her community. She generously volunteers her time with significant organizations such as the Alma Domestic Violence Foundation, Books for Africa, the Atlanta Community Food Bank, and the Boy with a Ball Love Your City Initiative. Her commitment to service reflects her compassionate spirit and desire to make a positive impact.
Dreams of design and global impact
With a strong foundation built on discipline, creativity, and a heart for service, Miya aspires to attend Georgia Institute of Technology or Rice University and pursue a degree in Architecture. She envisions using her design skills to create meaningful and impactful contributions to the world. The Debutante-Cotillion program is an important step in developing the leadership and grace needed to achieve these ambitious goals.
